Maryland Homeowners Associations Act (Title 11B) - This act sets forth the basic rights you have as a homeowner in an association.
Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of Section 4 Summer Place (these are also the Declarations for RTC) - East Village, Section 4 Riva Trace - sets forth the standards for assessments, property upkeep and maintenance and changes made to the properties. Our Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCR) allow us to protect the structural and aesthetic elements, which make our community unique and which preserves the character of Summer Place - East Village. They also allow the community at large to maintain standards, with the aim of preventing a few residents from lowering the property value for all of us.
Bylaws Summer Place - East Village - sets forth the legal policies and procedures for the board of directors, committees and Association operations. We will also be reviewing the bylaws this year to determine if any changes are needed. Any recommended changes will be presented to the community early next year. Please let us know if you have any comments/ideas for changes to the bylaws.
